Is All Terrain Style of Tow Bar Worth Extra Cost for Flat Towing

Question:
My question, do the all terrain tow bars warrant the extra expense over those like the alpha 6500? Your opinion? Thanks,

All terrain tow bars essentially are ones with telescoping arms and the ability to twist between the shank and the arms which basically allows the tow bar to more easily connect to a set of base plates. Otherwise you have to have the tow vehicle and the towed vehicle perfectly level and perfectly square to get the arms of the tow bar to connect.
Even if you don't plan to tow to an off road area this style of tow bar across the board will be easier to use. The Blue Ox Alpha part # BX7420 would fall under this classification as well. From my experiences the triple lug setup of the Blue Ox tow bars are the easiest to connect to as well.
