Do Bed Liners Need to Be Removed to Install a 5th Wheel Hitch

Question:
I have a Dodge ram 2500 short bed, I have a plastic bedliner. Do I have to.take of the bedliner to put the rails on??

On vehicles with plastic bedliners it is required that you cut out a hole in the plastic bedliner that is large enough so that the 5th wheel rails can attach directly to the bed of the truck making full metal to metal contact. You will not need to remove the entire bedliner.
