How to Switch the Patriot into Hybrid Mode for Hybrid Vehicle with Continuous Power Assist Brakes

The Patriot breaking system manual states that if the vehicle is a hybrid / continuous power assist brakes, the system must be placed in hybrid mode. Does this apply to a 2013 Ford Focus.

If your 2013 Ford Focus is a Hybrid version then it has continuous power assist brakes. You can check the owner's manual of the Focus to see if it is a Hybrid model. The standard 2013 Ford Focus has brake assist but it is not continuous or regenerative like in the Hybrid model.
If your Ford is a Hybrid and you are using the Patriot part # BLU37TR then you would need to put the braking system into "Hybrid" mode. How to switch the Patriot into Hybrid mode:
1. With the brake plugged in and turned on, use the remote to access the “FORCE” adjustment screen.
2. Use left button to lower the Force setting all the way past 0 until you see “H” for Hybrid mode.
3. Press “OK” Button
