I recommend Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13409 for the 2019 Subaru Forester because it will give you about an inch more ground clearance compared to the other options. In my opinion it also looks a little nicer then the Draw-tite option because it does not hang down as low. I have attached an installation video for your reference.

You need a 4-way trailer connector to power the lights on the cargo carrier. I recommend Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # C56040 which provides about 1 more amp per circuit then the other options to prevent overloading the sensitive electrical system in your Subaru. I have attached an installation video of the wiring as well.
