Question:

I have a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek with factory Aerobars. Can two of these ProRide XTs be installed in order to carry two bikes?

Yes, you will not have any issues installing two of the Thule ProRide XT Roof Bike Rack part # TH598004 on your 2019 Subaru Crosstrek with aero crossbars. However, if the bikes are the same then you may need offset the carriers so that one bike is facing forward and the other bike is facing rearward. This will ensure you don't have any issues with the handlebars coming into contact with one another.

I looked up both the size of the factory crossbars as well as their spread and they are both within the capabilities of the ProRide. The only thing you will need to look out for is to make sure your bikes are compatible with the carrier. I have attached some key points on this for you below:

Maximum Tire Width: 3"
Maximum Wheel Diameter: 29"
Maximum Wheelbase: 47-1/4"
Maximum Weight: 44 lbs

If you have bikes with tires larger than 3" then we do have an adapter that will allow bikes with up to 5" wide tires to be used and for that you will want to use the Fat Tire Adapter Kit part # TH5981. In order to secure both of your bike carriers to the vehicle and your bikes to the bike carrier I recommend using the Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders part # TH450400.
