Will Item # C16992 Curt A Series Wedge be compatible with my Curt Q24 hitch? Im hoping to solve my clunking issue resulting from using the universal wedge that comes with the Sidewinder.

A Curt Q24 fifth wheel hitch such as # C16245 is not compatible with a Sidewinder and should not be used with one. The reason for this is its spherical axial bearings in the hitch head of the Q24; there is far too much movement in the head unit to be safely compatible with a pin box that rotates. This is also the reason there is no a wedge for the Q Series of hitch.

The best option is really going to be a new fifth wheel hitch. While I know that is not what you expected, it is the safest option, and likely the least expensive as opposed to a new pin box. I recommend the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Slide Bar Jaw - 16,000 lbs # C16115 and the appropriate wedge # RP64FR to keep the king pin from rotating inside the hitch.
