I need replacement brake shoes for Dexter 36-22 brakes. That number is stamped on the brake base. They are 2”x12” shoes. Do regular Dexter shoes fit?

We do not have replacement shoes for the brake pads you sent in a picture of. But judging by it's overall appearance it's going to be way easier and better for you in the long run to replace those assemblies as they have seen better days. It's also typically about the same price to just replace the entire assembly and won't be quite as difficult either.
For that you can use the brake assembly set part # AKEBRK-7-SA and you'll have an assembly for both sides of the axle.
