i have a old cattle trailer i am trying to replace the electric brakes on it has a 12 inch x 2 inch drum 8 lug. the existing break has a 4 bolt pattern. i am not sure of the axle rating but think it is between 6 and 8 thousand pound. trailer is 20 feet long double axle.

For your 12x2 electric brake assemblies, I recommend the Dexter Electric Brake Kit for 4 Bolt or 5 Bolt Flange - 12" - Left/Right Hand Assemblies # 23-105-106-09. These assemblies will fit your 4 bolt flange and will work well on your trailer. The mounting nuts are included but the bolts are not. If you need the bolts and lockwashers, I recommend # 7-5 and # 38LW. You may also want the brake adjustment tool # W80630 to install and maintain your brakes.
