Does the ball come torqued down already? One of the commenters mentioned that their ball was loose.

Yes, the Curt Heavy Duty Forged Ball Mount # C45332 comes from Curt with the 2-5/16" hitch ball already torqued to specs. As the customer stated in their review, it must have slipped through their quality control. When we receive them and ship them out they remain in a plastic bag (which we do put in a box) so if it were loose we wouldn't know.

Thanks for the dimensions you listed! You are going to need a ball mount with a drop of right at 4 inches. To accommodate for suspension sag you might go with a little bit less of a drop but 4 inches really would work well still. The Curt ball mount…
