Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Mystik JT-6 high-performance synthetic grease in this one-pound can. Now this is an advanced multipurpose grease which is a long-life industrial lubricant. This is ideal for use on equipment that's exposed to a wide range of operating temperatures and environments. The recommended operating temperature range for this grease as zero degrees Fahrenheit up to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. This does resist breaking down in water with superior washout resistance.
The specs on this, the NLGI rating is #2 and that measures the relative hardness of the grease, so the #2 indicates a viscosity about the consistency of peanut butter. The drop point on this, which is the temperature which it passes from a semi-solid to a liquid state is 500 degrees Fahrenheit. And this is for a quantity of one, one-pound can, has the pop top opening on it and comes with this resealable lid.
