Installation of Third Brake Light Bed Camera on 2018 Ram 2500 with Factory Backup Camera and Monitor

Question:

My truck did not come with a bed camera, only a camera mounted in the tailgate. Will this camera plug into the existing harness on my truck or will it require additional wiring?

The Truck Bed Cargo Camera for Factory Monitor - 3rd Brake Light - Switch Kit # 3460015 is a confirmed fit for your 2018 Ram 2500. It comes with everything needed to toggle between the factory backup camera and the new camera integrated into the 3rd brake light location. It will simply plug into the factory wiring and then you run the camera wire to your dash monitor. You will only need to run the included camera wire and mount the toggle switch. No additional parts and no splicing of wires is required. I've attached a couple of videos to assist.
