Availability Of Reese Titan Hitch Extender 45018 Or Similar

Good morning. I was wondering if the Reese Titan hitch extender 45018 is still manufactured and available. I cannot seem to find it for sale anywhere. Thank you.

Hey Adam, thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, the Reese Titan hitch extender 45018 is currently unavailable. Reese's parent company went belly-up and they stopped shipping and producing product. It sounds like the company was recently bought out, and they do have plans to resume production, but there is currently no ETA for when that will start up.
That said, we do have a very similar alternative, the Curt # C45048. This fits a 2-1/2" receiver and provides 24"-34" of extension. So, not quite as long as the Reese, but they are very similar and the Curt is readily available.
How much extension do you think you need? What are you using the extender for?

Hi Jesse, Thank you for getting back to me. Good to know that they no longer manufacture the Reese Titan. I’m picking up the truck Camper tomorrow and I will have to measure just how much extension I need. Hopefully the 34” Curt will be enough. Thank you again.
