Question:
What is the ball dimensions including the height extending above the mounting plate? I will be using the 2-5/16inch ball for a locking mechanism for my trailer coupler.

Some dimensions of the 2-5/16 inch hitch ball # 19286 are shown in the attached diagram. The shank is 1-1/4 inches in diameter and is 2-3/4 inches long. Overall it's about 6 inches tall, aboput 3 inches of that being from the bottom of the base to the top.
