Question:

Can I get replacement keys and locks for older models? I am about to buy one used. The person doesn’t have the keys.

You mentioned they do not have the keys, so I am assuming they do have lock cores? The easiest thing to do would be to simply order replacement keys for the Thule Adventurer cargo box. The box should have a lock core with a number stamped on the front of the core itself; for example, it may say "N105" and for that you would need to get Replacement Key # THKEYN105. Just search for THKEYxxxx, with the number on the lock core substituted for the X's.

For new lock cores you need to use the Universal Change Key for Thule Locks # 853-1251 to remove the old lock cores and then you can install the Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders # TH450200. Please keep in mind the current locks do need to already be unlocked before you can change them.
