Does your 2015 Traverse have a rear air conditioning unit? If so, this harness will not work with your vehicle. Also, when you ran the hot lead to your battery did you connect the fuse holder to the positive terminal of the battery?

If your 2015 Chevy Traverse without the factory tow package does in fact have the rear AC then there is a wiring harness that will work, the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Connector # HM11141150. We have previously heard from Hopkins that there have been no issues with this connector on a '15 Traverse.
