Question:

Im at the blue print stage of my enclosed trailer. It is going to tow my 2018 Mustang Saleen and a GT 500 Mustang. Im working with them on D rings etc? I always thought the tracks would be impossible to use because i have less than 1 inch clearance from the tire to fender. What would you suggest using to secure the cars the best?

To safely secure your 2018 Mustang Saleen and GT500 I recommend using the Erickson E-Track Wheel Tie-Down Strap # EM58523. This ratcheting tire strap is a perfect solution for your application since it will only touch the tread on the tire and the ratchet can be positioned out of the way from the vehicle on the E-track.

To use the ratchet straps you will just need to install some E-tracks like the 5 Foot Long # E19148. These are available in shorter and longer lengths as well so I have attached a link that will take you to our available selection that you can look through.

I have also attached a picture a customer sent in that shows these straps being used on a Camaro with limited wheel well clearance like you have that you can take a look at for reference.
