We have a E-450 Class C motor home and want to tow our 6200 lb boat with surge brakes. Tongue weight is about 375 lbs. I need a weight distributing hitch that will work with surge brakes. Need your advice Thanks

To determine which of the Weight Distributing Hitches among the ones you mentioned would be right for your application, you will need to know the actual as-towed tongue weight of the boat and trailer. This would encompass the weight of anything stowed on the boat, including fluids. Also, the weight of any gear stowed in the motorhome behind the rear axle would need to be considered as tongue weight.
We have a Weight Distribution FAQ page that shows a good method of determining your trailer tongue weight using a bathroom scale.
This being said, if the tongue weight proves to fall in the 400 to 600 lb range, the # RP66558 would be ideal for your needs. If the tongue weight falls in between 500-1,000 lbs, go with # RP66559. Ideally, you would want the tongue weight to be as close as possible to the middle of the effective range of the system.
The adjustable weight distributing shank is included with either system, but a trailer ball is needed. The larger system needs a ball with a 1-1/4 inch shank. If you need a 2 inch ball, use part # A-90. For a 2-5/16 inch ball, go with part # 19286.
For the smaller Steadi-Flex use part # 63845 for a 2 inch or part # 63847 for a 2-5/16 inch.
Either of these systems will work perfectly with your surge coupler.
