Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at this WeatherTech Custom-Fit Hood Protector. Now, this hood protector is designed to fit your 2023 and newer Honda Pilot. And on custom-fit parts such as this protector, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide. Just input the year, make, and model of your vehicle and our fit guide will confirm if this will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. Now, this deflector is going to give you a low-profile aerodynamic protection from bugs and debris on the hood of your pilot.
And this features a stylish skin-tight fit. So this is going to be a very easy, no-drill installation. And I just wanted to flip this around here and show you the adhesive tape that's on the back. So you're just going to peel away that red film to expose the adhesive tape. And then lemme give you a closeup here.
You are going to receive alcohol pads and then a surface prep pad to get that surface of your hood ready to mount this, so that's going to allow the tape on the back of this protector to stick very well without any issues. This is made here in the USA of durable, flexible acrylic. So this is going to withstand the wear and tear from the daily grind. It's a smoke color, it's transparent, but very, very dark tinted. So maybe you can see my fingers through there, but they call this a smoke color.
Instructions are included to guide you through the very easy installation on your Pilot. Packaging is poor for that product. It needs something to keep the handlers from folding it up.

I really like the hood protector a lot..it fit great and was easy to install, as long as you follow the directions.. looks really good I think ! UPS could have taken better care or the shipping process. The box it came in was beat up and had at least a foot long tear in it. I was shocked that the guard was not damaged.. overall I am very happy with the product.. would order again..
I wish it was more of a ridged product, that did not Glue to the hood of the vehicle, I realized this when I bought it but, I did think it would be more of a hard molded product and hopefully it will last for many years to come.
