For your 2018 Toyota Highlander, I recommend the etrailer.com Class III hitch # E98844 which has a nice matte black powder coat that matches the rear trim well. It has a high weight capacity and will work very well for your vehicle. I've attached a photo to assist. If you want a hidden cross tube, then the only option we currently have is the EcoHitch # 306-X7250 which is a nice clean look with a little more ground clearance.

Then I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118449 or for a 7-way # 22119. This also lets you easily add a brake controller like # 90195 which is my recommendation if you will be towing a trailer with brakes.

Finally, I recommend the B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount # BWTS10035B to give you a rise and drop to tow level. This also gives you the ability to store the ball behind the shank for a clean look when not in use. I also recommend using a hitch lock like # e98882 to protect your investment.
