Question:

My Santa Fe Sport came with a 4 pin wiring harness. I need to connect a 7-way RV style Trailer plug Pollock or Bargman plug Does an adaptor exist to convert the 7 way from the trailer plug to a 4way flat on the vehicle? Can Vehicle side female be installed to accept the mail plug from the trailer? The pins are flat on the 7-Way plug

For your adapter from the 4-way to a 7-way, I recommend the Hopkins Adapter 4-Pole to 7-Pole and 4-Pole # 37185. This will give you the option of adding the 12V power, the brake controller output, and the reverse lights. Even if you don't add those functions, you still need to install the white ground wire for proper function. If you want to add those features, I recommend the wiring kit # 5506.

The trailer side 7-way will work well with this adapter on your Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. If your trailer has electric brakes, I recommend adding the 12V power on your vehicle and then using the Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller - Wireless - 1 to 2 Axles - Proportional # C51180 for an easy install or if you want the dash mount, the Prodigy P3 # 90195.
