Im trying to wire up my 3rd tail light on my leer camper shell. I tried doing it off the driver side tail light wiring but no matter what I do it cause the 3rd brake light to blink when using the driver side signals. So I googled how to wire this 3rd tail light and came across a few of this company a post that theres a blue wire used for the 3rd tail light. So I got under my truck and looked for th8s blue wire. But my truck dont have one just Brown black light green dark green and yellow. So what can I do to wire this 3rd tail light to my 2988 Chevy Silverado c1500 short bed regular cab 4.3 v6 truck?

What you can do is use the converter box part # 118158 wired to either you taillight wiring or trailer wiring and you'll have a dedicated stoplight circuit on the red wire. If you ground the white wire and then run the green wire to the right turn circuit and the yellow to the left turn on the input side of the box the red wire on the output side of the box will have just the stoplight.
