I am guessing by RV you mean camper or 5th wheel trailer. If this is the case then I recommend using the Lets Go Aero V-Lectric Bike Rack # LGA34FR. This is compatible with up to 2 bikes but can be expanded to a 4-bike system with the 2-Bike Add-On for Lets Go Aero V-Lectric Electric Bike Rack for 2" Hitches # LGA94FR. It isn't a traditional platform rack but it does secure the bikes by their wheels so there is no frame contact and has a whopping capacity of 75 lbs per bike, making it a very sturdy rack. This bike rack has the ability to slide back to create more room between it and your RV to let you easily access the rear of your RV, plus you can remove the outer 2 trays if you will only be carrying 2 bikes. The V-Lectric comes with keyed alike anti-rattle locks to deter theft of your bikes and the rack.

Yes, that actually does change things significantly! Since motorhomes have a better ride quality than 5th wheels or travel trailers there are quite a bit more bike rack manufacturers who have approved the use of their bike racks for this use. If you have standard bike frames then the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE # HR1400Z is your best option as it has integrated bike and rack locks, has a rust-resistant steel construction with a black powder coat finish (backed by a limited lifetime warranty), and has a shank with a 7" rise. If any of your bikes have a step-through frame then you could potentially use the adapter bar # HRBA-PRO so that the hooks have a way to secure your bike but if you would rather not use an adapter bar I have a different rack recommendation for you. The Thule T2 Pro XTR # TH83JV with 2-bike add-on # TH9036XT is another excellent option and it secures your bikes by the wheels so there is no frame contact. This makes it compatible with virtually any bike frame style that doesn't have front fenders. This also comes with bike and rack locks, has the steel construction with the black powder coat finish which is made in the USA (backed by a limited lifetime warranty), and a shanks with about a 7-1/2" rise. The reason that my first recommendation is the Hollywood Racks option is because of the price difference plus the fact that the T2 Pro XTR weighs in at 96 lbs as opposed to the 74 lbs of the Sport Rider SE.
