Question:
I would like to install the controls inside my motor home near other controls. How long are the wires from the valves to the switch. Can I remove the valves from the assembly and install them in my 3in assembly can I add a 2nd control for the wet bay giving me electric controls inside and outside, how much clearance, length of valve, do I need for valve to fully open and length of valve when closed.

I went out to our warehouse to measure the Valterra EZ Valve Double Electric Waste Valves part # E84-8 for you. The wire lead on the actual valve is about 8-1/2" long whereas the wire lead on the switch is about 7' long for each valve/switch.
If you just need the electric valves then we do offer them separately, the Valterra EZ Valve Electric Waste Valve part # E40-8 (3" Hub to 3" Spigot) or the Valterra EZ Valve Electric Waste Valve part # E40A-8 (3" Spigot to 3" Spigot).
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend you add an additional switch for each valve as that is not how the system is designed to be used. I am not saying it is not possible but I would not have any advice to do so and the warranty would then surely be voided.
The handle will raise 3" past the top of the housing to open the valve so this is the clearance you need to take into consideration. I have attached a photo of this for you as well.
