Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com Today we're gonna take a look at this Valterra E-valve electric waste valve for a three inch pipe on your RV black water tank. Now this electric valve right here is designed to replace your existing electric or manual black water tank sewer valve. If you see, it includes two hub style ABS plastic fittings for a three inch pipe on this side and one on this side. Now this does include everything shown here on the table. It'll include this electric valve assembly, right here, it includes the three-foot-long switch wiring harness, the four-foot-long valve wiring harness, and then if you notice, comes with a black water switch plate that we've attached the switch to. Now this will let you empty your black water tank with just the push of a switch, keeps you from stooping over and struggling with any manual sewer valves and those terrible odors.
The motor on this, spin it around so you can see the motor right here. It is a high-torque water-resistant motor. It's certified for at least 6,000 cycles. And also if needed, you can pull this out and the valve could be operated manually if needed. Now the switch itself is placed near your wet bay or anywhere else that's convenient and on the switch, so right here, you can see it off, on, when you switch it on, there's actually a warning light on the switch that'll let you know that the valve is in the open position.
Now this kit is preassembled and pre-wired for installation. Application, as we mentioned, fits three inch sewer pipes. This has two hubs, one on this side, one on this side. The voltage, uses 12 volts and the power draw is 2.5 amps. But that's gonna do it for a look at the Valterra E-Valve electric waste valve for the three inch pipe on your RV black water tank.

A bit challenging to install because of trailers tank position, hopefully it doesn't fail anytime soon because the manual lever is mid trailer.
I couldn't believe I got this so fast. Supposed to deliver Dec 4 and it got here Dec 1.
Everything looks good but haven't installed it yet. I will give it a 5 because of the expeditious delivery and customer service.
First super fast shipping!! The parts are very high quality and surprisingly actually easy install, the valve took about 15-20 I was more afraid of getting any of the gray water on me than changing the valve, but surprisingly it was super easy. The wiring being 12v with the plug and play with the auto valve was again very easy for any diy Rv owner. Highly recommend. One quick note I installed three separate auto valves one of them. The cable was about 3 feet short so if they’re not long enough, he will have to splice in three wires. Wire size in the picture bought at Lowe’s.
