Hi, everyone, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at this Valterra E-Valve. Now, it's electric waste valve for your RV's black-water tanks. There's no fittings included, what you see here is what you get. It's for a 3-inch pipe. The electric valve is going to replace your existing electric or manual black-tank sewer valve.

It has a high torque, water-resistant motor, and it's been certified for at least 6,000 cycles. Now, if you need to, for some reason, you don't have power or something like that, you can simply pull this plastic pin, and then you could operate that valve manually, just as you have been doing all these years if you have a manual one already. So a very nice kit. I like how the face plate is black. They also sell one for the gray-water tank that's a smaller diameter, and the face plate is gray.

So, you can get those two together as one kit if you need them, sold separately here, or if you need the gray one, pick it up separately as well. You're going to get both of the gaskets here, the four nuts and bolts, and the wire here is a very long, I believe, 7-foot total by the time you hook everything up here. So a very nice kit. And one other thing with this switch is that it can be placed near a wet bay or anything else like that because it has a built-in 5-amp reset button here. So you don't have to worry about any kind of in-line fuses and that kind of stuff.
