Can Continuity be Tested on Trailer Brake Magnets to Determine if they Are Good

Im dealing with 10k dexter axles with electric brakes. Should there be any continuity through the magnet checked at the end of each magnet wire?

We have an entire help article dedicated to testing trailer brake magnets that I attached for you to check out. You can test for resistance like you described. There is a specified range of Ohms that should be present depending on brake assembly size. If the assemblies are 10 or 12 inch the range should be 3.0-3.8 Ohms or if the assembly is a 7 inch assembly you'd need to see between 3.8 and 4 Ohms.
