Where is the Brake Controller Port on a 2018 GMC Yukon XL

Cant find location on plugging in the cable to the right port under the dash. For brake controller 2018 Yukon. Any videos on the locations?

Did your 2018 GMC Yukon XL come with a factory trailer connector? If not then the port is not present and the brake controller would need to be hardwired into the vehicle's wiring harness. If it did then the port should be located up under the dash near the emergency brake lever or OBDII port. The harness is usually taped to other wires and can be hidden pretty well so it will take some time.

Unfortunately, we have not yet installed a brake controller on a 2018 GMC Yukon XL so I do not have any videos of an exact location but I can confirm that the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers part # 3016 is correct so long as the vehicle came with a factory trailer connector.
