Question:

HELLO, I NEED YOUR HELP. I GOT THE DELIVERY OF TH6299T THULE MOTION XT 6299 With the key in the lock, somehow I brock it off while trying to install on the van by setting the foor box sideways I believe. Now, I cannot get the brocken piece out and only have one key allowing only to open from oneside and its been painful. Please help. Question 1: Can I purchase a spare key N003: This number is from the key? Question 2: How can I remove a brocken key piece from the lock? Thank you and I look forward to your reply.

Thank you for purchasing the Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box # TH629907. I am sorry you're having an issue with a broken key. For a new key you can use part # THKEYN003.

You can try using needle nose pliers to remove the fragment of the broken key. If this is not possible you will need to drill out the lock core to allow it to be replaced with part # THLOCKN003. To install the new lock core you will use Universal Change Key for Thule Locks # 853-1251 which is shown in the linked video.
