Question:
Hello, I saw your recommended parts list for a 2015 Odyssey. Would you recommend the same for a 2016? Thanks

The towing parts that you mentioned for the 2015 Honda Odyssey will indeed also fit and work great on your 2016 model Odyssey.
Starting with the trailer hitch, the Draw-Tite Class III Max Frame Receiver Hitch # 75270 is a great choice. This Class III hitch will use existing holes in the vehicle's frame for a no-drill installation and will provide you with a 2 inch receiver that has a 4,500 pound towing weight capacity. Just note that you will also want to verify the Odyssey's capacity by checking out your owner's manual. You will just need to follow whichever limit is lower, the vehicle's or the hitch's.
I have attached an installation video that you can use for reference.
Then for trailer wiring the Tekonsha Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118521 is the way to go. This custom harness will install by plugging into factory ports behind the driver side trim panel. This will provide you with a 4-Way connector to connect with and power a trailer's basic signal lights. I have again attached an installation video that you can check out.
The Universal Wiring Kit # ETBC7 and the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Brake Controller # 90195 that you also referenced will only be needed if the trailer you are towing is equipped with electric brakes. If this is the case then these two items are exactly what I recommend. The Wiring Kit includes everything needed to convert the above mentioned 4-Way to a fully-functional 7-Way along with the additional wiring needed to install the brake controller. The Prodigy P3 is well known for its reliability and ease of use.
Then when choosing a ball mount you will just want to go with one that has the rise or drop needed to tow your trailer level. I have attached a great article that explains how to determine this along with a link that will take you to our available selection.
