Question:

Could the AS04 be used from the tailgate of my Ram 1500 by just resting the bracket that extends from the stair or would it collapse? My tail gate is about 37 off the ground. A clamp or bracket could possibly secure it to the inside face of the gate. Thanks. Note: I have a Kodiak canvas tent that I mount to my pickup bed and I need a way to get in.

The Brophy Camper Scissor Steps # AS04 actually come with a bracket for you to mount on your pickup. It allows you to easily install the steps when you reach your destination and then remove them before heading out! If you would like to add a handrail for more stability we also have part # AHR4 for you to use.
