Question:

I have a 2017 Keystone Springdale 245RB. The threshold height is 26 inches. The welded-on brackets are 26 inches apart. The factory mounted single folding step is inadequate. I would like to replace with a set of 3 step, 7 inch rise steps, but have not found any that are 26 inches wide overall. I am hopeful that you can help.

We do have a few options for you to choose from to replace the single step on your 2017 Keystone Springdale 245RB.

Out of the available choices I recommend either going with the SolidStep Manual Fold-Down Steps # LC791572 which mount to your threshold or, if you want the same style step, the Hickory Springs Manual Pull-Out Steps # 95324EXTALC1 and using the Outriggers # LC301704 to relocate your mounting brackets.

You are correct that there are no steps with mounting brackets 26" apart so either of these options are great alternatives!
