Question:
HI - I have a trailer I want to use for yard work and want wider tires so it does not sink in mud as much. The current tires are 4.8x12 and I believe the rims are 4inch wide rims. What is the widest tire I can put on these rims. The trailer is rated for 960 lbs. Thank you

The widest tire size that fits a 12 inch wheel is the 145/80-12 like the part # AM10140 which has a section width of 5.7 inches. This will be right at an inch wider than what you currently have.
