A standard car battery will work to power Bulldog trailer jack # BD500199. The battery will need to have an amp hour rating greater than 30 amps which is the max current draw of most electric A-frame jacks.
Other option is to use jack # 3370093500 or # UF38-944037 provided your tow vehicle has a 7-Way trailer connector with functioning 12 volt circuit. Both of these jacks are powered through the 7-Way so no battery is required on the trailer to run the jack. I have linked videos for all 3 jacks for you.
