Recommended Air Brake Controller Compatible With Electric Over Hydraulic Brake Actuator

Question:

Dear eTrailer: I have a 5th wheel with electric over hydraulic brakes. Is there a device that I can hook up to my air brake semi tractor to control my RVs brakes? If not, how would one go about controlling elec/hyd brakes on an RV with an air brake semi truck?

We have exactly what you need. You will want the Hayes Air Actuated Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 4 Axles - Proportional # HA100400C which is the only Air to Electric brake controller we carry that is compatible with electric over hydraulic brake actuators. For this installation I also recommend the Power Wire Kit for Electric Trailer Brake Controllers - 12 Gauge # BRK-ELECKIT and the Air Line Hose 1/4" # RM450700 sold by the foot.

The similar Warner Air Utility Brake Control # 1300-80 is not compatible with electric over hydraulic systems.
