Can Electric Brake Controller Be Installed on Semi with Air Brakes

Question:

So per the wiring diagram, the controller is actuated from a brake light switch and the controller will then send an appropriate voltage to the brakes? Will this work on my semi truck that is equipped with air brakes as long as I tie it to the stop light switch?

Technically you can use an electric controller like the Prodigy P3 # 90195 on a Semi as long as you have that stop light switch signal. Some people prefer an air actuated controller like the Hayes Air Actuated Trailer Brake Controller # HA100400C but it isn't exactly necessary.
