Expert Reply:
Due to the spring tension of the spring bars pulling hard on the nuts of the u-bolts you would not have to worry about torqueing them down. As long as the nuts are threaded on they won't go anywhere. Hand tight would be all that's needed.

I have 1000 lb bars on my new Sway Pro. I am finding that 10th link (2 1/2 showing) is under by 40 lb on the front axle return loading and 11th link (1 1/2 showing) is 40 lb over on front axle return. 11th feels best. When pulling 10 feels a bit floaty at the front of TV. 11th feels great but I don't like the fact that it's a bit over on the return load. Can I adjust the position of the nuts to lessen force lightly as long as I leave a few full threads past the nuts? Thanks and Best Regards Rich Greensboro, NC
