How to Determine if GE Cooktop Will Fit in Place of Atwood Cooktop in a Redwood RV

Hi. I have a 2014 redwood 36RL with a Atwood 3 burner 21inch cooktop. Id like to replace it with the GE cooktop. ?1 reason is the cast grates. Will that fit and will my countertop covering wor as well?

Hey Craig, thanks for reaching out!

The GE Profile Propane RV Rangetop # GE67VR requires a 4-1/8" tall x 20-1/4" wide x 17-3/4" deep cutout and measures 4" tall x 21-1/2" wide x 21" deep overall.

I honestly have no idea what the dimensions are on your Atwood cooktop, but you can compare these dimensions to what you have to see if it will fit.

The depth is what im woried about. I have 3.5 inches from the wood bottom to where the stove top rests. I need that dimension.

@CraigC For the GE Profile Propane RV Rangetop # GE67VR that dimension is approximately 3-7/8" so it sounds like your cutout may not be quite deep enough

Due to the spring tension of the spring bars pulling hard on the nuts of the u-bolts you would not have to worry about torqueing them down. As long as the nuts are threaded on they won't go anywhere. Hand tight would be all that's needed.
