Question:

Hi, My Onan generator has been quitting while underway. I had an Onan tech look at it and he said the generator needs more air when underway. Am thinking of adding one or more of something like the V2018-01 to the generator bin door. The surface area to work with is about 5 by 36. Are wider ones available?

The Ventline Exterior Wall Vent part # V2018-01 which measures 10-1/2" wide x 3-3/4" is currently the largest one we offer. You could install two of them side by side or you could using something like the Camco RV Vent part # CAM42164 with the Camco RV Vent Cover part # CAM42163 which measures 26" long x 1-3/4" tall. This vent would provide more airflow and better match the exterior of your RV. This will be the best option we have for you. Though it's is not necessarily designed for the purpose in which you will be using it, I do still believe it would work well for you.
