Thank you for answering my question. Is there a bunk ladder with wider rungs- wider than 2 in?

The Surco RV Bunk Ladder # SP503B has rungs that measure 12-3/4 inches long with 10 inches in between the tubes and 2 inches wide but with the plastic covers 2-1/4 inches. There is 12 inches between the rungs.

We carry both Stromberg Carlson and Surco bunk ladders and all of them have the same rung width of 2 inches. They are strong and the Stromberg Carlson model # LA-460 most similar to the Surco model you asked about originally is rated for 200-300 lbs. These ladders use the same rungs as the RV exterior ladders you see on the back of trailers and motorhomes. They are 12-3/4" long x 2" wide x 3/4" thick.
