Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.

Hi, everybody, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking together at this Caliber TrailBlazer ATV or UTV Tie-Down Kit, rated for 3,300 pounds per strap, safe working load limit. Now, folks, these tie downs are gonna let you secure that ATV or UTV to your trailer, and they're gonna install over and around the tires, much like the image on your screen. Now, the ratchet mechanisms make it easy to tighten down and maintain tensions on the straps, and they have a nice wide handle here, and that's gonna make it easy to operate with just one hand. And then, as you know, you got your spring loaded release, here and here. And the nice thing with these is, it's gonna make it easier for one person because it also has a keeper that's spring loaded, here, on each side of the hooks.
So, very nice, easy to use. Now, you've got the red portion here, the halo, as we call it. That's gonna go around that wheel and tire. Let me zoom back out, here, so you can see it a little better. So this would go around the wheel and tire.
You got your ring here, you got a cinch strap here, where you can cinch everything down, nice and tight. And then, obviously, another cinch strap over here. Same thing, cinch that down nice and tight. You have this in an anchor point on one side, and then you have the other side up and over the tire, around the tire, on the other part. And then you're cinching it down to secure it.
Now, you're gonna get two of these straps with purchase. So you get one here, fits nice in the bag. It does have the included bag, here, with it. And then the other one, same thing, you would wrap it up, obviously. I'm just gonna kind of put it in here loosely, just to kind of show you the space that this nice carry bag has, as well.
And then you can fit everything right there in one nice bag, easy to carry, easy to put away, whether it's in the cargo area, trunk space, toolbox, or whatnot. Now, you may require some mounting hardware, that would be sold separately, or you can source it at your local hardware store. Everything here is made of a durable polyester, and you have the nice bag with it. The straps are two inches wide, and the strap length is between 25 to 35 inches, as far as your usable space over that wheel and tire and everything. So, folks, that's gonna wrap it up. Seem to be well built. Not sure you could adjust small enough to fit 25” tires. Adjusted to my 29’s not much adjustment left. I’m happy with the purchase.
