Replacement Spring Bars Differences for Weight Distribution System

Question:

Generally speaking, are all the round, curved spring bars the same diameter where they go into the hitch? Are the straight torsion bars the same diameter of all other torsion bars?

The Replacement Round Spring Bar for Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Systems - 1,000 lbs TW # FA94-02-1099 will be very similar in design to other manufacturers. The diameter of the bars is really consistent between brands at the head, but the size of the system will change that diameter as it tapers to the end of the bar. The style of connection will be different depending on the hitch head the bar is designed to be compatible with. It is definitely not a one bar fits all.

The same is true for many of the torsion bars. The size and weight will be very similar but there will be some design feature that will differ so they are not compatible between manufacturers.
