Question:
I have a fastway E2 2PT 10000 LBS GTW 1000 TW. The hitch was locked in but when we got to our destination one of the bars was missing. Never heard or felt anything. I brought the hitch home when I pulled it off the truck the other bar fell out. Have you ever heard of this happening

As far as I know this is not a common problem, and not something that we have had reported as an issue for the # FA94-00-1000. It is important to make sure that everything is secure when installing the weight distribution hitch. The spring bars should click into place on the hitch head to where they lock in and will not fall out.
I do not know how old/how much use your Fastway system has, but one possibility is that the spring clips need to be replaced. We do have replacement clips available # FA94-02-1059. Although it seems unlikely that both would fail at the same time and result in your bars falling out.
We also have replacement spring bars available. The Replacement Round Spring Bar for Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Systems - 1,000 lbs TW # FA94-02-1099 would be what you need for the # FA94-00-1000.
I attached an installation video for the Fastway system that shows the entire process for your reference.

May I have a link to the video instructions for replacing the spring clips that lock the bars into the hitch? Thanks!
