Question:
I have an old truck bed trailer with a broken axle and am interested in upgrading it to an axle-less trailer with breaks. What should be the parts list needed to upgrade my trailer? Or is it even doable? Thanks

The Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System - 4" Lift Spindle w/ Brake Flange - 5,200 lbs # TASR5200S03 will work well for your old truck bed trailer. The Axle-less system will allow you to have a custom fit to your trailer frame. You will simply bolt the assemblies to the frame and then run a 2 inch square bar (not included) through the integrated holes in the assembly.
Then add the brakes and hubs and compatible wheels and you'll be good to go. The wheels in your current photo won't work because there are not hubs with that bolt pattern that fit this axle. For hubs that match this axle, you will want the Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly - 5,200-lb E-Z Lube Axles - 12" - 6 on 5-1/2 # 8-201-5UC3-EZ. Then I recommend the Electric Trailer Brake Kit - Self-Adjusting - 12" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies # AKEBRK-7-SA and hardware # BRKH12.
If you don't want trailer brakes, you can use the idler hubs # 8-213-5UC1-EZ instead.
Finally for tires and wheels, I recommend the Provider ST235/80R16 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 16" Silver Mod Wheel # TA59VR. These combinations will fit the hubs and are rated for 3,520 lbs at 80 psi as well as speeds up to 81 mph. They come with a 2 year Platinum Plus warranty that includes roadside assistance as well.
Let me know if you have further questions.
