This tire-and-wheel combo is ready for real highway work. The Provider ST235/80R16 radial tire carries a 10-ply rating with a maximum load of 3,520 lbs at 80 psi and an M speed rating of 81 mph. The assembly meets DOT specifications and exceeds FMVSS standards, so you can haul at steady highway speeds with confidence that your tires will handle the weight and the heat.
No need to make an extra trip for balancing. Each Provider ST235/80R16 tire is laser-match mounted and balanced on its 16" x 6" steel wheel before it leaves the factory. That careful pairing reduces vibration, helps prevent uneven wear, and gives you a smoother feel on the road from mile one.
The steel wheel’s 3-step finishing process keeps rust at bay in wet or humid conditions. It’s first treated in a zinc phosphate bath for paint adhesion, then e-coated with an acrylic primer and finished with baked-on DuPont powder paint on the outboard side. The light e-coat on the inboard face reduces friction at the hub and prevents flaking, keeping both looks and performance intact over time.
Constantly checking lug nuts gets old fast. This wheel’s automotive-rated center disc uses raised contours and beveled, uncoated stud holes to improve clamp force retention. That helps it stay snug on the hub through miles of towing without the need for frequent retightening.

1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

its a spare and holing up fine. I cant say much other than when asked for a 1 year review all I could do was go out, look at condition from being exposed to weather and check pressure. Pressure wa good still and tire looks as goos as it did a year ago.
