Question:
I just ordered your brake controller and wiring adapter It has the factory 7 prong connector on the bumper but no factory brake controller. Have I ordered the right equipment?

I wasn't able to locate your specific order, but it looks like you are referring to the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Brake Controller # 90195 (excellent choice) and the Plug-In Adapter # 3031-P. If this is correct, these are indeed the correct parts and all you will need to install the brake controller on your Toyota Tundra, whether or not it has a factory controller.
Since you have the factory 7-Way, this will be a simple "plug-and-play" installation. One end of the mentioned Plug-In Adapter will connect to the brake controller itself, while the other end will plug right into the factory port beneath the Tundra's dash.
