Can the Head of the Electric Jack # EJ-3520-BBX be Rotated

Question:

My tailgate comes down on the jack head. Is there a way to rotate the jack head 90 degrees without having to redrill the mounting bolts and rotate it completely

The head of the Electric Jack w/ Footplate # EJ-3520-BBX unfortunately cannot be rotated. Before drilling new holes though I would unbolt the jack and try rotating the whole jack to line up with the same mounting holes and see if that allows your tailgate to come down.
