Question:
I want to mount E-track to the walls of my trailer. 24 inch tall one on each side. I need this to hold a 2x4 tube steel across to provide a stop for the front tire of 3 dirt bikes. I do not see studs where I would like to mount these tracks. Any recommendations how I can ensure the E-track will be strong enough to hold the bikes from moving forward under tied down load?

There needs to be some type of strong structural component on your trailer where you want to mount the Erickson Horizontal E-Track # EM59150. There is nothing that I can recommend which will ensure they will be strong enough unless your trailer has the proper place to mount the tracks.
You may want to consider putting the E-track on the floor and then using Erickson E-Chock Wheel Chock for E-Track # EM09162 and ratcheting straps such as # EM59136.
