Question:

Whats the hub/bore diameter for the 6 on 5.5 hub? Dont know what my wheel bore size needs to be without knowing the diameter of the center bore of the hub. Thanks

I went out to our warehouse to measure the Dexter Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 3,500-lb Axles - 6 on 5-1/2 # 84655UC1 for you. It has an outside bore diameter of 3.09 inches that the center of the wheel will fit over. I've attached a photo to assist.

Most trailer wheels have a center bore of 3.19 inches, but as long as that center bore is larger it will work because trailer tires are centered on the lugs not the hub's outer bore. That center bore of the wheel is often covered with a cap like # 319EZ.
