I just installed a MA00-04000K it has the mounting tabs which rain covers fit?

For your MaxxAir MaxxFan Trailer Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan # MA00-04000K the recommended vent cover is the MaxxAir FanMate Rain Cover - White # MA00-955001. This is designed by the manufacturer to work with the integrated mounting tabs of the vent. I've attached a couple videos to assist. This will not only give you rain protection with full access to the fan and bug screen but also will restrict your airflow by less than 5 percent so you will be able to enjoy the vent.
