Will this part fit my 2004 GMC Canyon tailgate lock cylinder?

We do have some tailgate lock options for your 2004 GMC Canyon. But Replacement BOLT Lock Cylinder # BL709231 will not work with the 2004 GMC Canyon. It isn't necessarily because of the lock or truck but because it does not accept the 2004 Canyon key.
We do have Pop & Lock tailgate locks # PAL1700 and # PAL1700C which are manual locks. Or you could use lock # PAL8160 which will work with power door locks to lock and unlock the tailgate.
